I’m delighted to share a glimpse into my journey with you. With over a decade’s experience, beginning in 2007, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with diverse clients in both commercial and portrait photography. Throughout this journey, I’ve come to deeply value the significance of dedication and hard work in producing photography of the utmost quality.
Among the awards and recognition, what truly humbles me is the opportunity to partner with outstanding individuals and esteemed companies.
As a Latina photographer, diversity and inclusivity are at the heart of everything I create, whether it’s a personal project or collaborating with commercial clients. In my portrait photography, my objective goes beyond capturing mere images. My aim is to provide an atmosphere where authenticity thrives, enabling me to encapsulate the genuine essence of my subjects. I strive to craft imagery that reflects the aesthetics of high-end editorials, resulting in photographs my clients will proudly hold dear for years to come. When working with commercial clients, I recognize the significance of aligning visuals with their brand identity, thereby contributing to their product’s success.
Regardless of the project’s scale, I approach each endeavor with meticulous attention to detail, drawing from my expertise in studio lighting and retouching. I firmly believe that every project, irrespective of size, merits nothing less than dedicated effort and care.
Thank you for allowing me to provide insight into my world and work. It’s an honor to share my passion for photography with you, and I’m excited about the prospect of collaborating with you in the future.
Back in high school, I got my hands on this nifty two megapixel camera from Walmart. Not exactly high end, but hey, it was a start! My kitchen table became my studio, and family and friends, my ever-patient models.
While working my day job at Radio Shack in Lowell, MA, I spotted the Canon XT DSLR. It wasn’t love at first sight, but pretty close. I scrimped and saved until it was mine.
Tired of just clicking photos of my fam and pals, I took a shot in the dark on Model Mayhem. My first time shooting strangers was nerve-wracking, but boy, was it worth it! the experience was priceless.
Scored a cool collab with Click Models Agency in Boston. This was big league for me, offering a chance to beef up my portfolio with some professional faces.
With all the tweaks and touch-ups I’d learned, I thought, “Why not share it?” That’s how my YouTube channel came to life, dishing out retouching tips and tricks.
With a move to sunny Florida, I thought, “New place, new start.” I took a deep breath and dove head-first into full-time photography. No looking back.
Took a wild chance and threw my hat into a 500px international photo contest. I was floored when I grabbed the top spot. My first contest and my first big win!
Things kept rolling. Became a 500px ambassador, and brands started noticing my work and my YouTube antics. Sponsorship offers started pouring in.
Bagged the Sony Alpha Female+ Grant, which was like winning the lottery in the photography world. And the cool peeps I met at Sony? Cherry on top!
Won the Sony World Photography Awards as the US champ. My phone was buzzing non stop with the international press and new opportunities. My journey, it seems, has only just begun.
